Graded by hand, described without hype.
Vinyl Vault started as a market stall and a spreadsheet. Fifteen years of digging later, it's a small catalog with a simple rule: if we wouldn't put it on our own shelf, it doesn't go on the site.
Every disc is played through before listing. We check for skips, scuffs that affect playback, and water damage on inserts. What we find, we write down — including the bad parts. A Very Good+ record with a scuff on track seven is still a Very Good+ record, and you'll know about the scuff.
We only sell physical media. No downloads, no streams, no licenses that expire when a company changes hands. You buy the disc, you own the disc.
Factory sealed, or opened only to verify contents. Never played.
Played a handful of times. Disc surface is glossy with no visible marks under light.
Light surface marks from sleeve removal. Plays through cleanly with no skips.
Visible wear and some surface noise. Fully playable, priced accordingly — always noted in the listing.
